FROM CANADA (via Highway 95):

      • From the Canadian border, take Highway 95 South. (Call Talus Rock and let them know you are 45 minutes from arrival: 208-255-8458)
      • Turn right at the light at Kootenai Cutoff Road (see Payless Shoes on your left). Go 1/4 mile.
      • Just past the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Boyer Avenue.
      • Pass Sandpoint Airport on your right, cross the railroad tracks and proceed through the 4 way stop (Cedar Street) to light.
      • At the light and turn right onto Highway 2 West (at Dub’s hamburger and ice cream place ).
      • Make a right on Division Street.
      • Make the next left on Pine Street.
      • Pass Sandpoint West Athletic Club on left.
      • Go under the overpass.
      • Make a left on Syringa Heights Road.
      • Count 2 driveways on your left.
      • 291 Syringa Heights Road. Driveway goes back into the woods. See a horse arena. Welcome to Talus Rock Retreat!

FROM COLVILLE, WA:

      • Take Tiger Highway (20 E)
      • Go South on Highway 2 to Newport.
      • Continue on Highway 2 to Sandpoint. (Call Talus Rock and let them know you are 1/2 hour from arrival: 208-255-8458)
      • Make a left onto Ontario Street (by Federal Building and before light on Division. If you have gone to this light, you have gone too far. Turn around and then take your first right onto Ontario).
      • Go approximately 1 mile and cross railroad tracks and proceed up hill to the “T” (Syringa Heights Road)
      • Make a right on Syringa Heights Road.
      • Count 4 driveways on your right (at the end of a long bank of woods).
      • 291 Syringa Heights Road. Driveway goes back into the woods. See a horse arena. Welcome to Talus Rock Retreat!

FROM SPOKANE, WA:

      • Follow signs to 90 East towards Coeur d’Alene.
      • Take exit 12 for US-95 North
      • Turn Left onto US- 95 North/Lincoln Way towards Sandpoint/Canada
      • Continue to follow US-95 North for about 43 miles
      • Go 5 miles on 95 N until you see Silverwood Theme Park on your left (Please call Talus Rock and let us know that you are 1/2 hour from arrival: 208-255-8458)
      • From Silverwood, continue on 95 N for 31 miles.
      • Cross over the long bridge over Lake Pend O’reille and bear right at the Sandpoint Exit.
      • Follow 95 through first light into downtown on First Ave.) Stay in the left lane and proceed through the stoplight at Starbucks to the first left (Church Street).
      • Make the first left onto Church Street.
      • Go through 2 crossroads (but no stops) to first stop sign (5th Street).
      • At stop sign, make a Left (5th Street).
      • Go to light (and T) and bear right onto Hwy 2 West.
      • Take Hwy 2 West through light on Boyer (See “Dub’s” on the left).
      • Make a Right on Division Street.
      • Go approximately 1/4 mile and make the next left onto Pine Street.
      • Proceed past Sandpoint West Athletic Club (see on left).
      • Go under the overpass.
      • Make the first left after going under the overpass onto Syringa Heights Road.
      • Count 2 driveways on your left to 291 Syringa Heights Rd.
      • 291 Syringa Heights Road. Driveway goes back into the woods. See a horse arena. Welcome to Talus Rock Retreat

      • Go left on US Hwy 2 (cross Idaho state line)
      • Turn left onto US Hwy 2 West/US 95 S

      • Follow US Hwy 2/ID 200 to the “T” (at the light)
      • Take Hwy 2 West through light on Boyer Ave. (See “Dub’s” on the left).

FROM BASE OF SCHWEITZER MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT:

      • Turn right out of shuttle parking lot on Schweitzer Rd and proceed to stop sign.
      • Make a right at stop sign on North Boyer Road.
      • Bear left onto Kootenai Cutoff Rd. (after you pass the Bonner County Fairgrounds on your right).
      • Go down the hill and turn right on Boyer Rd (if you’ve gone up the hill to the light, you’ve gone too far.).
      • Go past the Sandpoint Airport (on your right), cross the railroad tracks and proceed through the 4 way stop (Cedar Street)

FROM TALUS ROCK RETREAT TO SCHWEITZER MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT:

      • Turn left out of Talus Rock Retreat driveway on Syringa Heights Rd. Go to “T”.
      • Turn right on to Pine.
      • Continue on Pine and cross Division. Go to Boyer Ave.
      • Make a left on Boyer Ave. and continue until the dead end on Kootenai Cutoff Road.
      • Turn Left on Kootenai Cutoff Road
      • Go up hill and bear right onto North Boyer Road (Go past Bonner County Fairgrounds on your left)
      • Proceed over 1 mile until you see billboard for Schweitzer Mountain. Turn left.
      • Proceed 1/4 mile and park on the left to catch shuttle (leaves on the hour and 1/2 hour) or continue up the hill to Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
