Our Kipling Room features a cozy master bedroom with an attached jaw-dropping bathroom complete with almost 200 imported brightly-colored Mexican tiles. Relax while soaking in the luxurious deep jetted tub in the company of treasures from India to Mexico.  This east facing room is located on the second floor of our retreat.  Slide open the glass doors and look over the Parisian balcony at the light of the moon dancing on the awe-inspiring Cabinet Mountains.

With hand-forged wrought iron stairs leading to a loft, queen size bed, fun lighting, and french doors, the Rio room is an enchanted magical getaway.

The slate and glass tiled tub/shower with matching hand-hammered copper sink will be delight the most discriminating palate. Whether on the sheepskin blanketed window seat or cuddled up cozy next to the glowing fire from the carved marble elephant fireplace, appreciate the copper cupola ceiling of this exceptional room that is the crown of Talus Rock Retreat. Like true kings and queens, step out on the 4 story deck to be with the ospreys, staring over miles of North Idaho treetops, and a sliver of Lake Pend Orielle nestled under the breathtaking Cabinet Mountain range. You'll feel on top of the world ('cause you are!) when completely enveloped in God's stunning backdrop.

Keeping it simple, in this special room there is no television - however, there is a VCR with movies.

Your master bedroom (with a comfy king bed) includes an attached full bathroom with a dragonfly glass and tile mosaic shower echoing peace and serenity, as you gaze upon the stunning pond and Cabinet Mountain views.

The Nooma Room features a full kitchen, spacious dining/living room (which can double as a dance floor), and a powder room with a hand-painted Mexican sink. It also includes a fabulous theater, comfortably furnished with a couches, a futon, and even inflatable mattresses for every comfort taste.

As if that's not enough, this fabulous ground floor location (with completely separate entrance) provides immediate access to the gardens, waterfall, pond and fire pits.

We remind our guests that reservations made during Holidays, Holiday weekends, Special Sandpoint Events (Lost in the 50’s, The Festival at Sandpoint, Oktoberfest, Winter Carnival, Timberfest, and the International Draft Horse Show), and the months of January, June, July, August, and December are subject to the "Cancellation Policy B" terms detailed in the Talus Rock Retreat Policy Sheet.
